| We've had an exciting year to date at Viscom and are pleased to announce that we now have a new parent company. Viscom has been acquired by Aberdeen-based safety specialist Survival Craft Inspectorate Ltd (Survival Craft), which has more than 19 years' international experience in the design, manufacture and maintenance of lifeboats, their associated equipment and other life saving appliances. Survival Craft supply the Oil and Gas and Maritime industries worldwide, operating from bases in Norway, Singapore, Malaysia, Western Australia, China, and the US. We were previously owned by The Robert Gordon University, Bristow Helicopters and Heli-One, who have disposed of all their shares in Viscom. Everyone at Viscom is looking forward to working with the Survival Craft team to explore new markets and develop a wider range of products and services. Central to our continued success are our two new complementary websites - our main corporate site and a brand new site focused on supporting the aviation sector we have been serving for more than 20 years. Both sites were launched earlier this year and feature stylish branding by our in-house graphic designer Fiona Robertson, with our main site exploring the wide range of services we can offer businesses large and small. These include video production, 3D modelling and animation, interactive media, and hire of our purpose-built studio. Our new site showcases all the services that have helped us make our name in the aviation industry since our launch in 1987, among them video offshore helicopter safety briefings, interactive training, and survival equipment support. We have listened to you, our clients, and incorporated features you have asked us for, including our industry news Twitter Feed that is regularly updated. The two new sites together take Viscom to the next level and reflect and consolidate our growing status as both a leading commercial multimedia source and our position as the offshore industry's leading health and safety support material provider. Do let us know what you think, and we look forward to working with you soon! |
