Viscom Team Welcomes New Member!

Viscom is delighted to welcome Gordon Miller to the design team.
Gordon, 30, is joining us as an animator and 3D designer after working as a freelance for us, as well as for Godmil Designs, where he specialised in developing 3D environments using the Unreal Engine 3.
He is a graduate of the University of Aberdeen, from where he has a PhD in epidemiology, and became a designer almost by chance. "In my spare time, I taught myself 3D design so that I could help my friends with some video game projects," he said. "I got a good reputation from that and around the time I was submitting my thesis, I got an offer from a Canadian company to help develop their virtual world."
That was in 2005, and Gordon has since focused on design as his main professional discipline, working with a range of software in a variety of contexts to enhance his skills. Gordon added: "I am delighted to be joining Viscom, especially at such an interesting time in the company's history, and I'm looking forward to playing my part in expanding our 3D design capability."
